Artist description
Lungbutter is a collection of extreme personalities with extreme tastes in music.
The band refuses to allow themselves to get bored by playing the same music all the time,
and is therefore constantly stretching its musical boundaries.
Throughout an album, one can expect to be assaulted by music resembling rock, polka, punk, funk,
disco, metal, surf music, as well as uncategorized musical styles, not just from song to song, but frequently
within each song.

Artist History
Lungbutter assembled as a musical unit in 1996 when a group of wacky musicians got together and recorded the material that would later comprise their first album, "Available Now!"
That's right, the first thing these guys did together was start writing songs and recording them. Somewhere in the middle of these sessions, the group decided that they were a band, and that they were enjoying the music so much that they ought to release it on CD for the public to consume.
Since then, the band has played several live dates, and won the Saskatchewan Original Music Association's complete CD recording package, which was used to produce Lungbutter's second CD, "What Have They Done This Time?", which is an even more diverse recording than the first.
