"In the Brazilian indie circuit we usually meet "multimedia characters",but Lilian Vaz is special...she's the excellent vocalist of CITY LIMITS,INDIVIDUAL INDUSTRY and SICILIAN UNIT...CITY LIMITS'S tracks combine techno coldness and ethereal harmonies and comfortable clime with perfection,all linked by Lilian Vaz's beautiful voice"(Jornal O Estado de S. Paulo,Caderno ZAP! - Brazil/1994);

"CITY LIMITS shows that their work is the most sophisticated and well-solved,musically...The most obvious influences on Lilian Vaz's beautiful vocals comes from Cocteau Twins and Siouxsie And The Banshees.Somebody with a voice like that could fall in temptation easily enough and sound too much ethereal and become a sub-Liz Frazer,but Lilian had good sense to escape from those genre cliches...CITY LIMITS's cult status is undeniable"(Jornal A Tribuna de Santos - Brazil/july 22nd,1993);
"CITY LIMITS and SICILIAN UNIT...Techno and ebm contrasting with Lilian Vaz's beautiful voice,full of nuances and versions."(Dynamite Magazine 95's Retrospective - Brazil,april/1996).

"...Experience made CITY LIMITS reach an international quality standard,muse Lilian Vaz's pronunciation is perfect,creating a dancing atmosphere as it's soft and involving at the same time.On terms of female vocal,she's the best in this style."(Road Brazil Electro Zine - Brazil/1997);
"CITY LIMITS shines on debut cd...electronic duo shows intimacy with art-pop...The cd's soul is Lilian Vaz's vocal,her voice gives the emotional tone when keyboards start threatening to become too cold.(Jornal A Tribuna de Santos - Brazil,september/1996);
"Double cd compilation by German Subtronic record label arrives in Brazil...spotlight on Brazilian band CITY LIMITS...a good sample of the Brazilian electronic scene.(Dynamite Magazine - Brazil,july/1996);
"Brazilian electronic pop breathes...CITY LIMITS's "First" title song re-creates the gothic atmosphere of the 80's with lots of guitars and shadow textures."(Folha de Londrina/PR - Brazil,july/1996);
