Press Reviews
Reviews on Visionary Fools. "Hailing from Sweden, Cross is a contemporary porveyor of semi-symfonic prog with heavy Yes,
Genesis, and oddly enough Robert Plant (solo) influences. "In a Question Mark" and "The Riddle"
are chock full of time-signature jumps and riffs galore. Musically, drummer Robert Iversen
comes close to stealing the show - his work is powerful, tasteful, and inventive.
Actually, there are no slouches here, and keyboardist Olle Siljeholm has great Tony Banks-ish
texture to his work. The vocals are grating at times, but by and large Cross delivers the goods
on Visionary Fools. Good, solid, progressive rock - very enjoyable." - John A. Wilcox (Progression, issue 30) |
