Rich Stanion -Drums originally from Boston, Ma, .Rich Started playing drums at the age of 14 and hasn't slowed down yet. Many influences to include "John Bonham" , "Ian Paise" , " Joey Krammer " and "Neil Peart. ." Performing around the Boston clubs with original heavy rock acts such as "Spike Raven " which was approched by capital records in 1985, it was suggested that we move the band to the Los Angeles area for better exposure but as fate would have it the band declined the offer and decided to make a go of it at home. It was time to take things serious, and a move to Southern California in 1986 did just that. It was life in the fast lane, performing with the notorious band "London " a spin off from "Motley Crue'" , "Armed Forces", "Prototype", "War party ", "Jaguar" , each band gaining different levels of sucess but it would prove to be a learning tool for things to come. A move to Las Vegas in 1993 allowed for the creation of the band "Slaves" Mary Kryah - Vocals born in St. Louis Missouri, Mary started singing at the age of three in her church choir. Upon graduation she attended West Minster college to study opera. performing in a band called "Big Fun" she had the opportunity to open for such major acts as "The Fix", "Men without hats" , "Mitch Ryder", and "SuperTramp" . This allowed her to develop her own unique vocal style. After leaving St. Louis in 1991, Mary set her sight on Las Vegas. She soon found her self performing vocals on albums for the "Jimmy Van Zant Band", "Mark Huff ", and "Kinky Stunt". Feeling the need to express her own creative style she formed her own bands "Black Hole", and " The Green Room ", which gained much respect among the local musician and fans. Catching the attention of the "Slaves", she was invited down to jam, and the rest is yet to come! Kevin Gardener Rose - Bass / Violinist A native of Northern California, Kevin began playing bass at the age of 12 , main influences "Gene Simmons", and "Geddy Lee . Kevin started playing professionally at age 17 in the local club scene in No. California , Washington , and Nevada. In 1986 he joined up with a band called "LoudCrowd/Doc Holliday" (a heavy metal country band) , which supported such major act as "FogHat " , "Bad Company" , "Quite Riot ", "Sawyer Brown ", and "Roy Clark ". Kevin recieved his BA in music at California State University, " Chico" in 1997 with emphasis on playing violin in the symphony and conducting, a move to Las Vegas in February of 1988 allowed for him to become a member of "Slaves", and a Slave to his music. Lee Nave - Guitarist , A native of Akron, Ohio Lee began playing guitar at the age of fifteen , he began taking lessons and never looked back. Performing in local bands such as "Sceptire ", "Slave Of Mayhem", and "Hemlock " Lee developed his playing and songwriting skills as well as his crazy stage antics. Looking for new start and better opportunity Lee made the move to Las Vegas , He took on a job at a local recording studiio ( LEE PEPPER ) where he worked as second engineer, and also playing guitar on a number of local band demos. He was called in to do some tracks for a local producer when he met up with drummer Rich Stanion, After working together they realized that the goals were one in the same , and that there could be no better person to fill the job of "Slaves" guitarist.
