Artist History In spring 1998 when we started to record some songs,which became the first CDemo 'Supreme Surrender', ASMODEUS was spawnedfrom its' precourser-band DIABOLUS.DIABOLUS was founded in 1994 by TYR and DESDEMON but we couldn'd find any good musicians. So DIABOLUS was just a project. This changed, when DARGOTH and HARTH (DESDEMONs' brother) joined the band and completed the lineup for the first time. A few weeks after we finished the recording work for 'Supreme Surrender', they left the band in early 1999. They became substituted by LESTAT and ASHRAK in summer of 1999. With this lineup we have played several gigs in Austria and recordedour second CDemo 'As the winter moon bleeds' in winter of 1999. It was an honour for ASMODEUS to play with SATYRICON, BEHEMOTH, HECATE ENTHRONED and REBAELLIUN. Discographie: 'Supreme Surrender' 1999 Is the first CDemo of ASMODEUS. The songs mirror the beginning of the band. Most of the songs don't represent, what ASMODEUS is now. 'As the wintermoon bleeds' 1999/2000 Is the second CDemo. All the songs are more aggressive than the ones on 'Supreme Surrender'. 'As the winter moon bleeds' is just the beginning...In november 2000 we released our third demo CD called ‘Embers of Aeon’. This release is a milestone in the history of ASMODEUS.
