Artist History Walter's musical life began with his training as a classical pianist. From the age of 5 through 14 he studied with concert pianists in New York, Madrid and South Africa. After graduating from Harvard with a degree in Psychology and Social Relations, Walter started composing music on the piano and the classic gear of the early 80's--Yamaha Dx7, Roland TR 606, Tascam 234. In the early 90's he joined Peter Buffett's Independent Sound. Peter's credits include Narada Albums; TV Commercials (e.g. Infinity Cars, CNN), movie soundtracks (Dances with Wolves), and recently Spirit Dance (PBS Special).In 2000, Walter created Vistas on MP3.COM to rave reviews. Now an MP3.COM staff featured artist, his unique songs have hit the top of the charts across a number of genres.
