Artist description
A couple of New Zealand singer/songwriters who perform mostly high energy acoustic music. Drawing on their travels together as performing artists, their songs convey a love of the outdoors with some witty insight on social issues. Their recordings incorporate the talents of many fine South Island musicians. Ron Valente is a passionate and intuitive guitarist and mandolin player. Lindy Valente is a wild banjo player and guitarist also. They are both great vocalist and experienced performers. Their latest double CD Aurora was recorded in remote New Zealand rainforest in a tin shed, using a digital recorder powered by a generator. |
