Artist description To describe the sound of the band in only one word would be goofy. When we write our songs, we shake hand with „Old Brother Rock“ and „Big Daddy Hip-Hop“.Because we got influenced by the „Return of the Rock-Vibe“ form the States, Soulblind made a composition and with this kind a style it sure is possible to go along with the others and still have an EXTRA dam good sound. Some parts sound agressive hard and heavy, but we sure can be tuneful and emotional also. So you guys see, we really got a mixture arranged.Just listen and your ass is gonna catch fire!!!Our yeller, Anthony Penea, he does a dam good job. Soulblind makes a lof of groggy and groovy Riff, which get loosend up through a bunch of Hip-Hop-Parts and smoothe Samples.So you guys listen up, it´s time to join the crew!!!Once you get our sound in your head, you ain´t gonna bring em out again!!!

Artist History Soulblind promoted Middle 1998. At that time the 4 of us slipped in for our rehearsals and worked on a heavy set for the Liveperformance. In the beginning of the year 99 the band was prepared dam good for an excellent Gig at the biggest Talentcontest in South-Germany. Soulblind got choosed out of over 90 competitors. Finally we mad it up to finish of the 5 best acts. Although we delivered an excellent Part, we had to be satisfied with the 2.nd place only.They also have won the Indie Check from the music magazine „Soundcheck“ (Issue 03/2000) and appears singing the song „Que Passa“ with a 80.000 Edition on the attached sampler.This facts featured the popularity for this amazing liveband, who played on Open-Air- and Clubshows. We inspired all guys in the Southern Part of Germany. Autumn 99 Soulblind took part of concerts with several bands like: Undertow, Scumbucket, Smokeblow, Fett, Stunde Null and many more.
