Press Reviews
Reggae Review Magazine (Northern California, USA) – “You may have seen Mustapha (Master Toaster) with the San Francisco based Reggae sensation Red Di. With honeyed voiced Frank singing lead vocals, a very good band of musicians, Mustapha’s toasting, and the charming yet tenacious management skills of Mary Kirk, Red Di seems to work everywhere all the time. “ ReggaeVibes.com (The Netherlands) – “The album showcases many sides of the band. There are some fine lovers tunes on the album but roots and culture are also present here. Although the pop/rock influences are mostly in the forefront, they are not dominating every tune on the album. You can also discover dancehall and rap influences. Red Di's first album is well worth checking out, which makes it interesting to see how this band will develop in the future.” Reggae Power Society (Yugoslavia) - "Excellent album! Comprising some potential club hits and radio favorites. Exciting combination of roots and new Reggae elements, colored with beautiful vocals.” |
