Artist History Members of Native Sun. Darren and Joe needed to create a band for a music libary project plus a recording studio. Ornamental Noise's early material was written on meager equipment indeed: a Comodore Amiga running Music-X and a Roland sound module. No mixer. No tape. Although we were able to license some of the music, it wasn't enough to buy any decent recording gear. Darren and Joe dug deep into their pockets and eventually bought a Cakewalk-based setup with a mixer, effects and digital tape. They used that gear to record more ornamental noise material plus do the "Darren Maurice" project...
