Artist History Merkury Burn formed in Toronto in the autumn of 2000. Guitarist Jones and Vocalist R. Kelly Clipperton met through a mutual friend and the sparks just started. They had already recorded their first album, Suburban Porn (2000) with session Drummer Caterina Marchese when they met Bassist Vikas Sharma. Within a month of Sharma joining the band, Marchese returned, full-time ... giving birth to Merkury Burn. The band went in to the studio in the summer of 2001 to record the follow up to Suburban Porn, entitled Rumours of our Death, and they have two North American East Coast Tours. The band has received numerous accolades in print, on the screen and on the airwaves ... now, they are working to put that hype into a industry deal.
