Artist History
At the age of 12 I began learning guitar and piano. From the beginning I wrote my own music. First I learned improvising Blues on the piano. A bit later I discovered Heavy Metal, and composed a few complex works (which were a Heavy Metal/orchestra&synth-crossover) with my el. guitar and my first synthesizer KORG 01/WFD. 1995-1998 I studied classical guitar at the "Academy of Music Winterthur" in Switzerland, but I broke it up 'cause I realized that I was studying the wrong profession. I produce electronic dance music since 1994. At this time I'm studying audio engineering at the SAE college in Cologne. |

Press Reviews
======== Optone Project: Nikad Nisam Bio Ja: I liked the synth sounds right away. Very chilled and laidback House track. I had a very nice imagery and can totally imagine blasting this on my car stereo driving down an off-beaten track in summer. The vocals blend very well with the rest of the tune...though a little more reverb could've been more to my liking. Overall, this track gives me a nice, fulfilled feeling. I like it and will dl it after this. ======== BeatTRibe: What immediately struck me about this track (Nikad Nisam Bio Ja) was the sound quality: excellent. The keyboards are sufficiently flowing and phased to satisfy my psychotropic ear. The vocals may sound a little funny to the average clubber, but I like them, it adds more distinction to this track. A complex arrangement keeps my interest through the whole track. ======== Da Brayne: Nikad Nisam Bio Ja: The music is all very clean and tight sounding. Great mix and production work overall. Maybe a tad on the bright side, but most stuff these days is, so you are right in line with that. The only thing that wasn't quite up to the quality level of everything else was the female vocals. Were these samples or some live overdubs? I could have done without those, or at least I would have tried to make them a little more up front and clear and then used a nice chorused reverb with a long pre-delay to give them some ambience without muddying them up. Anyway, great job overall. |
