Artist description GSO or Gary S. O'Connor is a middle aged husband / father / carpenter / singer / songwriter. A "Garage" artist in every sense of the word, his music is recorded there with just a keyboard, microphone and computer, utilizing the present home based recording technology and software to his utmost. Gary's influences like many of us has been pop rock radio from the sixties to present. His melodies tend to be soft rock with blends of harmonic vocals and well thought emotional lyrics. GSO is presently building an environmental concern web site about the plight of the Everglades (in his home state) based on another original song that will be featured here very soon. He is looking for other artists who would like to get involved in this project, particularly someone who can produce a midi file for page background music, as well as a music track (to which vocals could added) for the new website's original theme song. All he can afford to offer them for the effort, is the appropriate recognition, possible exposure and personal satisfaction in knowing our environment will be better off as a result of this effort. (any income generated at mp3.com by a cooperative effort of the website's original theme song, would be negotiated to meet present industry standards) He is also looking to collaborate with other artists in lending his lyrics and/or vocals to other melodies. GSO's admitted shortcomings on the keyboard has resulted in several original songs in need of musical tracks, and is anxious to speak with musicians interested in an endeavor regarding this as well.
