Artist description
Formula Jade is a Boston, Massachusetts based original power rock band. With several years of performing behind them, the band is trying to expand its sphere of influence.
The band’s four-song EP titled Vina was recorded in the summer of 2001. As soon as the project was completed, the first track, “Hold Me Under Now,” was immediately placed into heavy rotation on college radio throughout the Northeast. The recording soon led to performances in the New York, Boston, and Philadelphia areas.
Formula Jade composes in the spirit of radio-friendly rock. By simultaneously fusing commercially viable material with groundbreaking, contemporary styles, the band still captures the essence of pure expression and improvisation. Formula Jade is currently writing new material in preparation for a summer tour throughout the Midwest.
