Drawing his ideas from disparate musical influences, Ethan's own brand of pop/rock is unique and eclectic. Ethan describes his love of songwriting: "I'm a fan of songs, a fan of stories. All the musical elements in a song really only serve one purpose, and that is to bring an emotion to life in the listener's heart."

Artist History Ethan has been writing and playing songs for ten years now. As a member of the band Two Lost Souls, Ethan experimented with numerous different sounds and styles, from acoustic folk, to jagged edged rock, to ethereal textures. After graduating from high school in 1998, Ethan put his skill at arrangement to good use producing records for other artists at his home studio, Ghostdance Productions. In 2000 he combined forces with singer/songwriter Daniel Gittins-Stone to form The Orpheus Project. Over the course of two years the duo won several awards and played in numerous venues and festivals throughout the state of Utah. Some highlights included Ethan's 2001 Salt Lake City weekly award for Best Male Vocalist (2nd place) in Utah, and the band's appearance in the City Weekly's 2002 showdown to SXSW. In the fall of 2002 The Orpheus Project split up, and Ethan is currently hard at work on a solo album that he hopes will represent the best of his songwriting.
