Artist History
Tecnologia barata, hardcore, EBM, sexo bizarro, música pop bagaceira e metal.
dollflesh has been around for four years, since 1998. We have recorded a CD called "ZERO - The Digital God" in march 2000 in our project studio where we have done the art cover, too. We are working hard to contact people all around that may have any interest in this type of music.
In the beginning of 2002 the Dollflesh started a new formation. Pablo Penov, producer of the first release added the group a second guitar, enriching our sound. This change will be shown in our new CD "Fleshback: using the tools". |

Press Reviews
"a crazy industrial music mixing diferent types of heavy music with eletronic making it very organic and original..." metropolis magazine I just listened to "Zero". I really enjoyed this tune. Definitly some of thebetter Industial I've listened to in a long time. Very original too. Jo Millerhttp://www.mp3.com/vertigotilt
I don´t have any doubt that there´s a exepitional music world happening below ours noses and we don´t even know. I never heard about Dollflesh and I´ve got the chance to have their independent CD which has artistic qualities over almost everything that the record companies trow in the market. The band doesn´t make songs to be sold on through radios and TV, and it seems that a alternative scene and market are not enough to give support to bands like Dollflesh. Zero _ The Digital God is a elaborated and well done production, rare to find even more being independent. It´s 13 songs with a lot of influences, such as eletronic music, industrial rock and hardcore everything with balance. Its a shame that not many people will have the chance to know Dollflesh since the independent distribution is poor.
Dollkflesh, which my ignorance has denied to know has been around for more than three years, they have played at all possible places in Sao Paulo. Dollflesh is: Droeee KY (vocal, keys, programming), Pedro Xu (guitar) Paulo Penov (guitar), Henrique Pucci (drums) Guigs (bass).
René Ferri – MAGAZINE Metal Massacre, editor Escala, edition n° 5, Nov/2000.
Staring project with quality way better than well known bands. On the first moment we noticed the most variable influences, Limp Biskit, Nine Inch Nails going to the Hip Hop samples till Caetano Veloso. First line heavy music using the organic and eletronic mix. Congratulations for the criativity of the band, which on your first CD makes use of the dialog which has consagrated Bela Lugosi. Who wants to get something new on the metal-industrial universe has to listen to this band.
Fabio Aubin - Magazine Metrópoli, editor do Grêmio Politécnico, edition n° 7, Out/2000
Beting on the mixing of different styles, like electronic music, industrial and metal Dollflesh is going to easily please Korn fans and artists related. All the 13 songs are in English.
Ricardo Tibiú - from the newspaper Folha de São Paulo, Folhateen , february 15th 2001.
Dollflesh plays insane music and completaly independent, sometimes seems like Ministry (white noise) and others like soulfly (zero). In the middle of all this , a lot of electronic noises and some playback.
Fernando S. Filho – from a very important magazine Revista Rock Brigade, editor Rock Brigade, editionn° 172, Nov/2000
