Artist description
Deep Chill Network is the total chillout side-projectof Dark Duck Records front man Stephen Philips.Deep Chill Network's infatuation with relaxation musicand the use of music to relax, has led them into thedark realms of sleep and dreams. With the use of synthesizers and effects, they weave a unique brand of neu-chill designed to calm the frayed nerves. Influenced by the work of Pete Namlook, Tetsu Inoue,Vidna Obmana, and Steve Roach, their music features subtle ambiences with a strong emphasis on chill. Most of their music is intended to be listened to while relaxing or sleeping and will always calm and relax. After their 4th installment in the "Cyber Sleep" series,Deep Chill Network has now embarked on some different projects. The "Dreams" series has gotten under way nicely with their first two installments, "Dreams 1" and "Dreams 2." Now that the first 3 volumes of Cyber Sleep have been deleted, Deep Chill Network plans to complete a Cyber Sleep 5 which will feature re-mixing, re-shaping, and blending of sounds from the first 3 volumes as well as new source material. The CD Heart of the Tundra, has been well received around the world and has been featured on several radio programs including Stars End.The followup to Tundra titled "Deep Freeze" has hit the streetsand is already making waves. |
