Artist History Dark Flare started in the late 1997, with Werther Azevedo and Guilherme Dakr. They began composing while searching for other members to fill the line-up. Initially, the intention was to be a purely grunge/alternative rock band, but a lot has changed as new members came in and we started listening to other musical styles. In august 1999, guitarist Fernando Mano joined the band and contributed to the metal aspect. In october, drummer Rafael Miranda added a punk punch upon coming in, and Dark Flare's ID was finally achieved. Bassist Gabriel Queiroz joined the band but left soon after. We never searched for a new bassist ever since. Later, the band suffered a lot of changes in the line-up and style, so the name was also changed. Check out Sigil (www.mp3.com/sigil) if you're curious. I can say it sounds a lot better than this stuff you have here.
