    Artist History
In the summer of 1990 Gatbois(voc, guit.) first met L’Bieppe(guit). That time both of them listened to the similar kind of music. And also wanted to play in own guitar band. After few nights spent by listening to the Pixies’ Doolittle, they have decided to play guitars together. They say it’s sounded like when Dinosaur Jr. meets Mazy Star, probably loud and psychedelic. Mr. Guttoneau (bass) appeared in ‘92. Gatbois and L´Bieppe knew him from Prague’s pubs already. Although Guttoneau had never thought of playing guitar before, few hours in a garage was enough to start him thinking about playing a bass guitar. However, the biggest problem was finding a good drummer. They were looking for him for almost a year. Unsuccessfully. Fortunately, Guttoneau has remembered a guy from basic school, which at that time was playing drums in a band called Smoking road.Stealing him seemed to be the only way how to get him. It was the summer of 94 when Bosworth was born.Since this moment they’ve been trying to find the sound they like. In the Fall of ’94 they played out few gigs in Prague’s underground pubs just for friends. The guys decided to make first record after four months full of composing. The record was born in January 1995 and was followed by few concerts in Prague’s rock clubs. Guys have recognized that it was the right time to make some changes. They wanted to make the sound harder and more dirty. After few hard months in their garage they had finally found the way.....the way of Pub-Pop U-Ground.In the ’96 band recorded the second demo.It includes four songs full of noisy guitars and lyrics about the guys’ drug experiences. Presently, they play only one song from this record. It’s called „Coke“ and is still one of the most wanted by the bosworth’s fans.In the summer of ‘97 band got under the influence of the Seattle grunge scene. The recording of the first unofficial CD ep* is dated to the end of the summer of this year. These four songs have never been understood.Presently they play only „Supersonic“.Guys realized that expensive recording studio doesn’t necessary mean perfect record. It was very hard to get over this disappointment. But presence proves, that bosworth is a strong band.In ’98 they recorded Noisytuned. The second CD ep. It’s the first record, which has been produced by other person than a member of the band. This person was Jiøí Køivka*. And he has done his job well. Four songs, which appeared on Noisytuned, sound very hard, are more melodic, fresher and faster and shorter and..... better than all previous records. The first track Destroyed has also appeared on the Silver Rocket Records’ compilation called The garbage from the Moon, which was released in Winter of ’98.Concerts in clubs around the Czech Republic followed. In July of ’99, bosworth performed in the Rock for people festival.
