Artist History Autumn 1999: EX-UNBLESSED guitar players Janne & Ville were drinking some booze in pub when the idea of Bleak Crowd came in to Jannes mind. The lack of sober mind in Villes head was the reason for him to saying yes to this project. Winter 2000: Janne made couple of songs with his four track mother fucker and then the singer was needed. They asked Juuso to join the band because he was known as a very rock attituded person. Juuso shit on his pens after hearing the question and started to produce sensual lyrics to these "OULU metal" songs. Spring 2000: Janne booked Bleak Crowd to Liminka but there was no drummer. And Ville was also doing his duty… somehow Timppa was found and Ville got rid of army just before first gig….. ROCK ´A´ROLL began. Summer 2000: Bleak Crowd was Janne-guitar, Ville-guitar, Juuso-vocals&bass, Timmpa-drumms. Couple of gigs for example in Jyrkkäkoski and Haapajärvi. Training room in Limingan tulli, Oulu. Autumn 2000: first demo "memory of a life" 10.10.2000. Juuso wanted to concentrade in singing so bass player was needed. Janne knew four string mother fucker player Kimmo, who was already bass player in Joint Depression and Red. Winter 2001: now the Bleak Crowd was ready. First gig with Kimmo in rock club Woodoo, Oulu 06.01.01 where was also FURY and DOROTHA. Rest of the winter and spring there was few gigs in Oulu area. Summer 2001: Second demo "mourn" in July in RT-studio, Oulu. Juuso and Timppa doing their duties. Ville got plaster in hand, Kimmo to his leg.
