Artist History
Chris, Pat and James have been playing music together since 1993. The band AUTOMATON officially formed in the spring of 1996. There first recorded release, the 7" "automatic cleaning device," was put out by Olympia's Galleon Key records in Feb. 1998. Their first full length "futura transmitta" was put out by on CD by Satellite Transmissions of Boulder, CO and on vinyl by Galleon Key/Radio-Optik Records in October 1999. AUTOMATON will be releasing their 2nd full length record on Seattle's Pacifico Records in the beginning of 2001. |
