Artist History Acedia began in february of 2000. It started with a dyi demo called 100 years of solitude in may. This past summer (summer of 2000) acedia released Requeim, a five song ep. They then got a new drummer called Ron at the end of Nov, 2000. In April of 2001 they recorded a five song demo which later went on to become a self titled 7" and a split on Tribunal Records called Born in hell, raised in Jail. Afterwards, several lineup changes occured, (which included a few shows with good friend Dan of ruin), which eventually would lead to a hiatus. Everyone cooled off and then got back together with original lineup. But that unfortuantely didn't work out so now there are a few newbies.
