Artist History
The Five L's formed in mid '99, amidst the wake of the breakup of the L's in a former life known as LSOC (Listless State of Consciousness). Although the L's are a new band, most members have years of experience together. Brian and Bo had the initial concept, and asked Bean to join the band. After trying out a few drummers, there was but one, and he needed no tryout, Nick. Then Mike stepped in, and the sun and moon finally lined up. And then Tim, earned his fame with the L's, and got snatched up. At this point, the L's started playing shows, and started spreadin' like a virus. So, now the five L's are six, and blowin' it up stronger than ever. Since our beginning we never thought that we would ever make it this far in our local scene. Now we are trying to spread out and let people listen to what we have to offer. The five L’s will be around for a long time to come and nothing is going to get in the way. |
