Artist History skinstatic are:Yvonne Hawkey (vocals/acoustic guitar/percussion) Vinny Piana:(guitars/bass/keyboard/loops & programming)Yvonne Hawkey and Vinny Piana have been working together in various projects over the last three years.They decided that working within the structure of a "full band" was no longer the best way to develop their music,and their approach to songwriting. In April 2000 they teamed up and created skinstatic in west london, where both musicians live and are part of the local music scene.The band focused on studio work and their first recording is the 4 track ep "you know I love it" which was released on the internet in november 2000.An album is planned for febuary 20001 as well as live performances.
