Artist History Skillz was born in Orlando FL in 1982. Singe age 4 he wanted to entertain people. He wanted to be able to control people like Michael Jackson, he wanted to make people think jump and cry basically bring out their emotions. Introduced to hip hop at age 7 and ... it was all over (for those know will tell you). After watching a person on tv with a record player and a mixer touching it and making sounds he then fell in love with becoming a dj at age 9 his father bought him his first turntable set. It was like a dream to put on a song and have people scream and run to the dance floor. At age 11 he wrote his first rap. At age 15 he decided to stop djing and focus on producing music. He then learned to do concert music and orchestrate and he knew what people wanted to hear.
