Artist History Hope - I first started dancing in 1987-1994 in the church. I ministered in dramas & prophetic dance for several years. Next I went on to do hip-hop dancing in outreaches in churches as well as Malls. I was married in 1995 to Manuel "Lil' Lito" Garcia. We had 2 children. Then in 1997 he and his friend started a group called "Represent". It was then that we had our third child and were ministering throughout Denver. I've been singing since I was in high school and I had an opportunity to minister with "Represent. Then in 1999 we started working on the One Life project. I was featured on four songs and it was released in 2000. Lito- I first started to do hip-hop dance in 1993-1995 in the church. I have been listening to hip-hop since 1980 and love to dance & rhyme. I wrote poetry in high school but when it came down to putting it to a beat it would not come out right. So one day I prayed and asked God why I could not use my talent. He told me that when I danced I glorified him but when I rhymed I glorified myself and he could not enhabit that. He then told me to dance. One day he blessed me with a few songs. In 1994 I began to minister with Chris "NISE" Hernadez, I would Rap and he would preach. It was in 1997 we formed "Represent" and traveled to South Dakota, Nebraska ministering to youth and adults through music and dance. We have also ministered in various park events, churches, and also the Fox Theater.We were feature on Rocky Mountian Celebration w/ Ruben Mendez. After we released One Life I was reminded by God to do the ministry as a couple with Stacie "Hope" Garcia. It was then that we started to work on songs together and went into the studio. Still associated with "Represent", now we are done with the EP project.
