Press Reviews
From PA Musician article by Cara Daniels. Out of New Cumberland, PA comes the heartfelt No Love Lost. After various, incarnations the Thompson brothers seem to have hit on a resolute combination. Leading off their set with the title cut of their soon to be released album "An Ocean Between" reveals the changes in No Love Lost since their debut album Evening Falls. Jeff Thompsons vocals and guitar have an echo of early Cure to them, yet stand strong against the dichotomy of Jeremy Thompsons energetic bass. Blake Livingston add an almost vampirical tone to "Loves Labour Lost", while drummer Travis Schell the melodious "Show Me How", exampling the diversity No Love Lost has achieved. Maintaining their thoughtful lyrics, No Love Lost is past their growing pains and has matured into a contender. |
