Artist description
With only a handful of programs and a somewhat limited samplebank to work with, Mindance is pioneering the sound of electronic music in a way that only he can. Composing music solely for entertainment, personal satisfaction, and as a creative outlet, Mindance expresses himself in whatever form of music fits his mood and creative ideas best -- from simple techno tracks to bizarre experimental tracks, you'll hear it all. |

Musical Influences
I listen to mostly electronic and hip hop music, but I am sure I have been influenced quite a bit by all the Jazz, Pop, Rock, and Classical music I listen to, also. In reality, I am influenced by everything i hear ... even by the sound of banging a pot with a wooden spoon =] You will see that I come up with alot of creative, unique ideas for my music. |

Artist History
Mindance grew up in the comfort of Orange County, CA (home of Disneyland, "The Happiest Place On Earth"), where he still resides while working on a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering at UC Irvine. Having been an avid follower of electronic music for the past 8 years, he has always been inclined to create his own music, but has never had the tools for the job. Now this eighteen year old, 7 year veteran of the modeming and computing community recently got his hands on the right set of tools to express his musical ideas. Keep on the lookout -- the musical ideas swirling about his head are endless, and only increase each day that passes by. As Mindance becomes more and more capable of expressing his ideas through the tools provided, listeners are going to be able to delve deeper and deeper into Mindance's musical world. Stay tuned . . . this is only the beginning. |
