Weiland has been recognized for his creative efforts by Columbia University, Chicago's Steppenwolf Theater Company and the Ohio Arts Council's Individual Artists Fellowship Program. _____ James Tigue has distinguished himself as a producer, composer, performer and musical director. He has performed as opening act for Joe Cocker, Todd Rundgrun, Boz Scaggs, Graham Parker, The Jefferson Airplane, The Starship and The Little River Band. _____ Wayne S. Turney won an Emmy Award on NBC/Multimedia's HICKORY HIDEOUT, which was seen every Saturday morning for close to a decade in Cleveland, New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami and Washington, D.C. _____ Anne E. DeChant was voted the 1997 "Best Local Singer/Songwriter" in the Cleveland Free Times Best of Cleveland reader's poll. The former lead vocalist and founding member of ODD GIRL OUT and a collaborator on the group's album, Odd Girl Out Live in Concert, Anne has also released two solo albums. As a vocalist, Anne has opened for such musical acts as Sarah McLaughlin, America, Joan Armatrading and Sheryl Crow. |
