Artist History
I moved to Nashville in October of 1998 from Rock Creek, Idaho. I grew up in the middle of nowhere on a working ranch with no television, cows that needed milking morning and night, and what seemed to be endless chores. Spare time was valuable, and I started using it to make up songs on the piano. I never learned how to read music, so I write, sing and play by ear. In college I tried out for an acapella group and performed shows with them in Colorado, Idaho and Utah. We mostly performed at high schools, but by the end of the year we had played for over 50,000 people. I had previosly thought I would never get over stage fright, so I am very thanful for that experience. I randomly came up with the name Blue Idaho and started using it because my name was a registered domain name already. Check out Blue Idaho.com! |
