Artist History strangegirl comes from a strange land of northern california. The was band was put together a couple of yours ago under the name of swizzlestick, cute, but not who we are now. It started when singer songwritter kim foscato and guitarist thaen rasmussen had played together in a band and things didn't work out with that band. kim was the drummer of that band and had started writting her own material and since that wasn't going so well she decided to start her own band but instead of playing drums she switched to lead vocals and ryth guitar and so far has penned all of the songs, althought the contributions form the rest of the band are extremly imortant to the sound which strangegirl thrives on. at present they are preparing to go into the studio to record a full length cd. the sound is rock with a bit of an edge, acoustic and hard electric drive the sound. but check it out for your self.
