Artist History Acis-Jazz-Funk-Rap-Pop-Experimental-Bootie groovin' Shiz-nit.Spigot, based in southern Orange County, had a goal of bringing Acid Jazz, Jazz-Funk, Euro-Funk Stylee and anything groovy to the groove deprived So-Cal. Spearheading a true alternative movement in the opposite direction from the aggro funk rock poking it's head through the afterbirth of sub-pop, the idea was to mellow out, take a couple of snaps and make some stuff that we dug. We had fun makingit, playing it, pushing it, rolling in it and gettin' some slickerfrom the chicks that dug it. We've had some incredible singers including the Funky PrincessVikki Calhoun and Shauna Richards who you'll hear on these tracksas well. We're done and have moved on from this project since 99, but we hope you might check out these tunes that are just a fraction of the material in our archives. You dig?
