Artist History
Back in 1990, Jon Michell, of "Breakin' The Law" fame, and I coined the name 'sole'. ie. "Ahhh.......sole, very good!" Although not particularly flattering, this soon progressed to further friendly banter and thus, the legend of sole was born. sole began musically after I found a guitar in the street one day on my way along the road to musical enlightenment. After the critical success of Home Brewed (1999), a cassette release to a select few, sole followed with a CD released in late 2000, to the same said few. Soon the sole band was realised with the addition of the musical genius of Henry and Dimitri. The sole live show debuted with the all-star line-up on November 6th, 2000 to rave reviews (well, a guy and his monkey said we weren't too bad) and soon followed a few months later with a brief tour of Adelaide thus beginning the sole band's 2 shows or less per year performance schedule....the band doesn't want to burn out too early. |
