Press Reviews
WPTS and Outdoors Club celebrate the end by ERIC LIDJIStaff WriterApril 19, 2001 The Pitt NewsLive music will balance out the old-world games and drown out the traffic on Forbes Avenue. Featured acts are The Attendants, ex-Simpleton members reformed to play rock instead of ska, but still keeping the brass section. Cleveland-based Shot of M balances out The Attendants' party sound with their straight-to-the-point rock tunings. The light but sugar-free Casio-pop songs of H.A.R.M. and jam band Esquevez.round out the live talent, with WPTS DJs The Hamburgler and Mecca spinning during set changes to keep the flow going. An authentic Scottish bagpiper will open the day as well. |
