Musical Influences Uplifting Trance, Funky House and Hard House

Artist History I have been producing tracks for about 5 years, I have the ability to play a wide range of musical instruments. I was in a funk band playing bass guitar for a while until we split. After that I started a BTEC national diploma in Music Technology where I met Mike. Since then, we have been writing tracks together from the studio in Mikes house. Mike had previously been a DJ and still is (a very good one at that!), he can occasionally be found behind the turntables at the RIVA bar in Maidstone, Kent on a friday night where he plays Funky House sets. I started DJ'ing in May 2001 when I bought Mike's old turntables however I seem to have more of a heart for producing. Mike's musical background comes from Drum 'n' Bass and House where mine comes from Trance and Techno. When writing tracks, we try to meet in the middle of these Genres and form a different and unique sound. (Neil)
