John Keller, previously of the classic rock duo, 'Calico', has broadened his musical outlook by releasing a CD of his own original material The CD "Words We Say - Words We Read", contains fan favorites such as 'Age of Modern Man', 'Don't Walk Away' and 'Reflection of You'. Also included is a song John wrote for his current band "What About Eve" John Keller's influences run to all categories, country to pop, folk To blues to soul. His voice has been described as swinging from Dr. John's growl to Roy Orbison's vocal caress, at times within the same song His other side projects are a rock duo Coming Soon and blues jam band Friends, Strangers and Callgiris, both highly in demand for their performances. Music is his life. A native of Utica, NY, John has owned a world-renowned vintage record and collectibles store for many years, specializing in vinyl from the 40's through today. The store also hosts a weekly concert featuring local and regional acts. John Keller has been a staple of the music community for quite sometime.
