Artist description I started out when I was 16 years old, basically with trackers (SC3,FT,IT215). After two years of working with Impulse, I transfered to the MIDI platform. While this further extended the general possibilities within music composing. Working with projects in the "electronic" line, made me always reach for the most modern and up-to-date sounds in it's genre! As for today, software synthesizers are playing a very important role in my production; likewise the art of sample ripping and editing. I've always been very clear on several aspects, regarding music composing. Whenever I start working on a track, I start from scratch! I don't like to take advantage of "pre -made" material for use in my production. I usually build the beat with various tools first, adding layers of elements (filters and envelopes), through a sound editor. Later, importing the pre -version audio file in sections into the internal sequencer. From there, I compose the melodyline and the different sequences with the "harmony rule" in my back head. For me, composing is about reaching for the creative and openminded part of my inner self and transforming these elements together with the atmosphere and environment into a fullsize product! Developing a product that reflects my feelings, really means a lot to me! I feel that Trance in itself, as an electronic music genre; has the potential to strengthen up the atmospheric tone given, because of it's complexity and it's richness. The wide area of sounds that can be placed in this line of production all together with the editing possibilities, really fullfill the needs for the "perfect" sound. However, there are genres I more likely refer to, when it comes to distributing different parts of myself. It all depends on what I would like to express, how I would like to express it and the reason why I would like to express what I feel is nescessary. :-) It's all about the music! -DJ Trax-
