Artist History The band started a few years back when the members were in early high school playing music for fun. When they decided to write their own material, Jeff DesLauriers joined Sean Murray and the other members in the band to help fill thesound. Being influenced by everything from hardcore melodicpunk to straight up pop, they began developing their ownstyle and playing local shows. After losing their original bass player, they asked local Jason Kaiser to join up. Shortly thereafter they began playing more frequent shows locally and in their surrounding states. After the original drummer left for college the band tried out a number of other drummers, yet ended up by downsizing to one guitar and Jeff on the drums. Jeff also worked at a local recording studio, which is the reason the band was able to record and release their first album independently in November of 2000. After the album came out, the band realized that they missed the full sound of two guitars at their live show. Jon-Erik Hendrickson of the band Nova-86 was recruited. Since then the band has refined (absolutely no pun intended) their sound. While not a total 180 stylistically, the new songs have a much more "mature" sound. We dare not use the "E" word.
