Artist History
One fine day, while walking in the woods, urinating their names in the snow, Josh and Nate said to themselves, here we are pissing our lives away, never going to amount to anything. We should do something more worthwhile with ourselves than dumpster diving and launching water balloons at convertibles. So, they started a SKA band. This wasn't your typical high-school kid's ska dream, but a full-fledged SKA legacy waiting to be fulfilled. The next day, Nate bought a drum set, and josh urinated, again. Then He made Nate buy him a bass guitar. Nate did. They hired a couple rude boys to dance and attract girls at shows, but went broke after many contract negotiations and line-up changes. They called it quits until they met a rock star that inspired them for life. "There is nothing funny about vapor lock. If you or anyone you know have been affected by this all to common nightmare, get help." These are the words of the late Joe Namath, and the inspiration to trudge forth through the muck and mire of a generation for two pre-pubescent boys. They put their minds together and scribbled out an add for new members to join, and another rock star called them up, Shawn the drummer. He had already been with such popular rock and roll bands as, xgreetingcardx, the temsmen, backrub, and McChicken. He made Nate sing, because he noticed Nate only had one hand and no arms, so it was hard for him to play drums. Then Shawn played drums. Josh lost his bass, so he stole what he thought was a "really cool six string bass." To this day he thinks he's holding a bass, just smile and nod when he say's it isn't a guitar. Along came an English man one day, and he gave them Eric to play bass. Eric is a monkey. He had more talent than anyone in the band, so he left shortly after to pursue a more profitable circus job shoveling elephant dung. Then this other kid Shawn, who knew he was holding a guitar all along, called selling encyclopedias. Needless to say, we ordered them, and Shawn started playing guitar for peacekeeper, he was horrible, but he gave us such a good deal on the encyclopedias that it was the least we could do to repay the favor. |

Press Reviews
Peacekeeper - Demo (CD)Style wise this is kind of confusing to label or pin these guys into a specific sub-genre, so its just "decent metalcore". They sometime have a Harvest vibe going, but they are much less dark sounding, even happy emo sounding sometimes. They have some good songs and parts that got stuck in my head after I was listening to the CD, so that's always a good sign on the songwriter's part. Even though there have been some shit talked about these guys because they are a "Christian" band, I like really this demo and hope to check them out live soon. contact info unavailable at time of print. |
