Artist History
Formed in 1993 by vocalist Matt Gross and guitarist Phil Barry. Their self-titled debut album in 1994 saw drummer Dennis DeSantis and bassist Troy Stansberry joining the group. With the release of 1997's "Intuition" drummr Jeff Moehle replaced DeSantis. Also adding keboards to this album is Rob Cookman who would soon after officially join the band. 1999 saw a new album "Good Disguise" and the departure of long time bassist Troy Sansberry. Taking his place is Mike Fuerst (formerly of Daddy Longlegs), and KDS hasn't skipped a beat. Playing with the likes of Collective Soul and The Verve Pipe, Knee Deep Shag is going to be around for many years to come... as each show passes, the crowd gets larger and more intense as are the venues themselves!! |
