Artist description
Gardener Box's music generally ranges between guitar jams and glued-together riffage that get "formalized" into short songs. Gardener Box sports a serious DIY attitude -- nothing is really studio-ized; it's mostly all done on the fly. Recordings come from such places as friends' basements, garages, and beneath shady trees. This stuff is simple -- and it's meant to stay that way. |

The main drivers of Gardenr Box (and Test Chicken, too) are: Mike Wendy (from Alexandria, VA) and Steve Lutz (from Chicago, IL). Both Mike and Steve grew up with each other in the Chicago area. |
