Artist History
Formed a decade ago under the monicker WITCHHAMMER, later changed to DROWNED and finally to DORMANT MISERY, we've always played brutal Death Metal in the american style. Due to numerous line up changes and other problems including a lack of interest in brutal Death in Germany in the late nineties we had a hard time establishing our name. Our only official release was a four track demo recorded in 1995. It is still available for download or purchase here. In the past 2 years we promoted our music by playing live as much as possible including a german tour with swedish deathsters DERANGED and playing the FUCK THE COMMERCE II festival in 1998. We will finally record a new demo in March 2001 that'll hopefully get us signed. Previews will be available for download here. A limited CD-R edition of the recordings will be available from us soon. We will promote this release with a shitload of shows, so look out for us!!! |
