Artist History
Shaped from former members of Yo La Tengo, The Human Switchboard and Peter Stanfel's Bottlecaps, The Schramms have been a Hoboken and New York fixture since 1985. Finding a place in the sun both in the U.S. and in Europe, they have become one of rock's most respected and talented bands. Dave Schramm has become a featured guitarist on works by Richard Buckner, Freedy Johnston, Soul Asylum, The Replacements and Whiskeytown. Check it out! He's also a hell of a songwriter. |

Press Reviews
This Dave Schramm guy is brilliant! There's a stark narrative country twang running through the heart of his Verlaine - meets - Richard Thompson guitar sound . . . in a class with just a handful of songwriters working today. (Brad Bradberry, Alternative Press) |
