Artist description R M S shouts their message from the northern Finland. Without any forgiveness they paint their picture with crushing metal riffs,anger and melancholic melodies. Using the latest techniques and inspired by the oppressing chaos they build up scenes of frustration, hate and anger without c o m p r o m i s e s .Mixing different metal styles and creating flashes from darkvisions, the world full of r u st, R M S has chosen their own highway.Two EP`s and over 50 gigs around the Finland have passed on their journey. R M S signed with Scandinavian A1 Music Ltd. in spring 2000 and they have several times been working with producer Mika Pohjola. The new material is fine proof of their way to world d o m i n a t i o n .

Artist History R M S was originally found in Oulu, Finland in 1996. The very first gig took place in December 96. After that, some changes in the line-up occured and during 1997 R M S played several gigs. At the same time they shaped their style into metal/hard rock. In January `98 R M S released their first demo of four tracks. It soon sold out and got positive reviews in major Finnish rock magazines. In 1998 R M S toured Finland, totalling 13 gigs, including supporting Sentenced at Nivala and playing at Nummirock, the biggest metal festival in Finland. In November 1998 R M S recorded the "Denial"-EP. It was an independent underground release of 500 copies. It sold out in six months and the band started to gather interest from various record labels. At February 2000 R M S went to the studio to record some new tracks with producer Mika Pohjola. The new material even has influences from neo- to gothic-metal. Later, the band signed to a production company Scandinavian A1 Music Ltd.
