Artist History The Ripoffs started out in September of 1999. Pete and Justin met each other through friends and Justin's band at the time wasn't doing to well and Pete wanted a band, so they figured what the hell and started a band. They had an old bass player but let her go only cause she could never get to practice. Around that time too Pete realized he needed another guitar player cause he's not superman and can't write alot of songs at once, or play 2 part harmony on one guitar. So we did the cool thing and went online and found Jay and tried him out, we loved him coz he is the man and here he is now. With Jason, he really didn't join until November and we practiced with him one time and then played our first show that night, he was the awesomest bass player around and ever since then we've just been having fun with it.
