Artist description
We probe the limits of what can be called grind or power violence or emo violence. Krojak is spastic death-core murderrock, sans drums. Krojak attempts to make fluid boundaries of genre and sensibility, and to sonically destroy those in the death-grip of Krojak's lyrical violence. |

Artist History
Krojak was formed in July of 1999 from the ashes of legendary Tampa pop-punk ensemble My Pal Trigger. Utilizing sophist-ic post-modern and post-structuralist theories of aesthetics, Krojak defied a genre, and provided a voice for the alienated youth who previously lacked one. Krojak broke up later in 1999, but what rose from its ashes, like the Phoenix, was the 80s-skate-hip-hop stylings of MC Bony McRad, and the eclectic Herrigan Steers the Infertile.Krojak never played out, but they will live in the hearts and minds (and tattoos) of the Tampa hardcore scene forever. |
