Artist History They call him Killer Ray, the Jazz Cowboy of Auckland, mixing it up with Jazz, Rap, blues, bebop, and scat vocals.Since becoming Killer Ray he has been performing at some of the best known night clubs and wearing a variety of costumes to go with his masked persona and his beautiful Marilyn Monroe look-alike models.Killer Ray is a solo act scatting and rapping over his keyboard improvisations and mixing in modern stuff like hip hop, rap, techno, house, jungle and drum and bass dance music.Killer Ray made his debut at the "Big Day Out" in '96 and made such an impact the Australian performers invited him to perform at the 97 party.His show was so successful, it will be released on a "Big Day Out" video documentary throughout Australasia.
