Artist description Judith is a singer/songwriter in the evolving tradition of men and women writing from the heart, from the 60s to the present. Her heroes and long-time influences include James Taylor and Joni Mitchell. Her voice, words and music move from soft and tender to big and burly, visiting all sorts of other places on the way. She is constantly developing as a guitarist and performer, and always open to new arrangements for songs. As a result of this, varied line-ups and her very special rapport with audiences, no two gigs are ever the same. Artist History After spending years playing and singing other people’s songs, Judith began writing and performing her own songs regularly around London in 1992. Early venues included The Mean Fiddler, The Garage, The Borderline, The Orange and The Twelve Bar Club, as well as various folk clubs. She now plays an ever-increasing set of venues and festivals elsewhere in the U.K. and abroad. Her favourite support gigs to date have been with Boo Hewerdine and Dar Williams.Between 1994 and 1997 Judith recorded three cassettes: 'Snapshot 94', 'The First Day of the Rest of Your Life' and a band demo. She has recently recorded her first CD, 'The Day Will Dawn Again'
