Artist description
Started writing my own tunes in 97, some of which are played under various other psuedonyms and aliases, primarily because of the difference in style, tone, and message. The "Dopamine God" incarnation is mostly simple ballad-type stuff, focused mainly on a sort of existential malaise. It's dramatic and whiny, but it's how I feel sometimes, and for me writing helps me get in touch with how I feel. It's not for everybody - it might not be for anybody, but it works for me. I know there are plenty of people out there who get as depressed as I do, and for some of us, there aren't many artists who can make us feel any better. That's why so many people turn to writing and creating. We're all unique in some way, and even though we might not have anything extraordinary to say, it sometimes comforts people to be able to express themselves, even if no one is listening. |

Artist History
Born and raised in and around Ithaca. Went into the Air Force in early 90's, and got back out as soon as I could. Moved back to Ithaca, did some hard drugs for a while, and played rock and roll with variuos local bands. Currently playing with "Downwind", doing some of my originals that are more suited for a "band" setting. |
