Artist History
Full time professional producer/engineer/composer Stephen "Da Brayne" Sherrard finally decided it was time to do a project of his own instead of spending all his time just working on other people's projects. Steve has been involved in music his entire life and truely has one of the best jobs in the world because he gets to work with a wide variety of artists in all different musical styles. Steve is one of those people who doesn't believe that there are good and bad "styles" of music, just good and bad songs within every style of music. He tries not to think about the style of music when he is writing, but rather chooses to concentrate on a theme or message for each song and express it in the way he feels is most appropriate. The music on the Sex On Da Brayne CD project is heavily influenced by many different styles of music, and contains some samples and loops from some of the groups that Steve has worked with, including the Seattle Youth Jazz Ensembles. Steve decided to base this CD project around the theme of a person, Da Brayne, who has sex on his mind pretty much all the time, and so the songs represent some sexual fantasies or erotic type situations that Da Brayne thinks about or finds himself getting into. There will also be a few semi-humorous songs on the album from Da Brayne's point of view that feature male rap vocalists acting as the voice of Da Brayn |

Several of the songs feature loops taken from sample CDs produced by Stephen "Da Brayne" Sherrard, including the Performance Loops - Drums series, as well as an upcoming Big Band Brass sample CD featuring many samples from the Seattle Youth Jazz ensemble projects that Steve has worked o |
